No Nintendo E3 Direct?
Hey guys! It's Emmett, and sorry about the late post! Also, Nintendo allegedly isn't going to have some kind of formal direct this year, which is pretty sad. I mean, I understand because the whole global pandemic thing going on, but it's still a little disappointing. I guess on the bright side, we can hope for more small trailers sprinkled throughout the year! So, yeah, I'm not too bummed about it, but it is just a tad disappointing. Oh, well, though. No sense getting too worked up about it.

Mario Slice of Life Cartoon Pilot Script!
Hey guys! It's Emmett, and I've written up a script for how I would want a modern Mario cartoon to look! I took a lot of inspiration from the (relatively) new DuckTales reboot, and I wanted to incorporate a consistent story along with the normal Mario wackiness. Update! - Weekly Comics & New Posts!
Hey guys! It's Emmett, and I have a bit of an update for the blog! In order to have more variety in posts, I've decided that FAQ with Mario comics will become a weekly thing, every Friday! As for the other days of the week, expect showcases of my scripts, puppets, music, or whatever it is I've been working on! I hope you guys like it!

Mario Maker 2 and Animal Crossing Updates, Oh my!
Hey guys, it's Emmett, and WOW! Talk about a crazy day for Nintendo fans! Both Mario Maker 2 and Animal Crossing: New Horizons are getting huge updates in just a few days! There's a whole lot to unpack here, so we'll go one day at a time.
THIS IS THE CRAZIEST THING EVER OH MY GOD. A world maker is exactly what I've always wanted for Mario Maker! With this, I can finally make my own Mario games! This is great because for a while, I've had this idea of a 2D collectathon game, and this feature will be a great way of trying that out! (I might post the level IDs for my worlds later on.) There are also tons of other features like the Koopalings, the Mario 2 mushroom, and lots of other stuff that I'll have a ton of fun playing around with.
The Animal Crossing update is also super cool, but not all-caps cool. Of course, this is because the hype was kinda spoiled by a recent datamine. (I won't talk about any other details from the datamine here, but look it up if you're interested.) But I've always loved the art gallery in older Animal Crossing games, so this is great for me! Also, Leif, Crazy Redd, Reese, Cyrus, and Rover all returning is definitely a cool thing.
Well, that's about all I've got to talk about pertaining to these updates, but overall, I'm very excited! I'll see all you fine fellows tomorrow for another edition of "FAQ with Mario!"
